Step One: Experience Missions and Begin Your Journey.

Step One is an intensive internship opportunity in Senegal, West Africa. The experience is a two-phase opportunity to train for full-time missionary work. The first phase includes two opportunities for Bible college students in their 3rd or 4th year. The first opportunity is a 6 to 8 week summer internship program for students contemplating serving the Lord on the foreign mission field. Experiences include basic language training, teaching English in both a school setting and on a one-on-one basis; as well as opportunities to make contacts and share Christ through the BIMI Gospel Ministry Center of St. Louis, Senegal.

The second opportunity is a 'study abroad' program which will take place during the students fall or spring semester of Bible college. Students will have the opportunity to complete their course requirements online while experiencing the mission field.

Phase two is entitled 'The Next Step.' The Next Step is a 1 to 2 year internship program for either students who desire to do an online master's program while training on the mission field; or for young couples desiring practical experience before launching out on deputation. Housing is provided at the BIMI Gospel Ministry Center (currently under construction).
